Our program is a comprehensive child development program, which serves ages 0-5 years of age, and their families. The overall goal is to increase the social competence of young children of income eligible families. By "social competence", it is meant the child's everyday effectiveness in dealing with either his or her present environment and later responsibilities in school life. Social competence takes into account the relatedness of social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Our program has a long tradition of delivering comprehensive and high quality services designed to foster healthy development of income eligible children. Our program provides a range of individualized services in the areas of education, and early childhood development, medical, dental and mental health, nutrition, and parent involvement. In addition, the entire range of services is responsive and appropriate to each child and family's developmental, ethnic, cultural, and linguistic heritage and experience.
